Mini Shoot Mayhem

We recently had what was intended to be a mini photo shoot in advance of our annual main one which is planned for July. The mini concept quickly became rather maxi and we had a chaotic but wonderfully fun day with eight little models, accompanying mummies, dogs and the Nicki Macfarlane team. Happy chaos!

Our brilliant photographer, Michaela, succeeded where many would fail in capturing a set of beautiful pictures and was seen, cameras in hand, in hot pursuit after small girls and a dog who made Langton Street their own for the day. What would we do without her?

Thankfully the sun shone and we could do much of the shoot outside. However our wonderful neighbours were extremely generous in allowing us to use their premises. So enormous thanks to everyone at La Famiglia, Guy Goodfellow (and of course Elvis – their scene-stealing little dog), Amanda Austin and The World’s End Garden Centre, not to mention our own boutique team who also managed to look after customers amid the chaos. We had an excellent lunch at La Famiglia where the children were given their own table to give us grown–ups some ‘time out’. They had a wonderful time being amused by the waiters with napkin folding games and choosing from the groaning pudding trolley, which had to be seen to be believed, before heading back to round two of the shoot.

The Nicki Macfarlane team were as always wonderful, organised and upbeat, and were joined for the morning by lovely Carrie who managed to create the prettiest hairstyles on the wriggliest and chattiest heads.

So – an unqualified success all round. And only three months to recover before the next shoot!
